Becoming Catholic - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
RCIA INFORMATION:
RCIA: The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is for anyone who is thinking about becoming Catholic and:
is not baptized OR
is a baptized Christian in another denomination who wishes to explore becoming a member of the Catholic Church OR
is a baptized Catholic who has not yet received all of the sacraments of initiation, i.e., Eucharist and Confirmation
If you would like to learn more about Catholicism and begin to discern whether you are being called to make the Catholic Church your spiritual home, come join our RCIA group. We will meet weekly from September through April. The purpose of our sessions is to introduce you to the beliefs and practices of the Church, and to facilitate your exploration of your relationship with Jesus Christ. Each session includes prayer, Scripture reading, and catechetical instruction.
Our first session for 2019-2020 will be held on Monday, September 23, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Maximilian Room (rectory side entrance). It will be an opportunity to learn about the program, and meet the team and the other inquirers. You’re welcome to just show up at the meeting, or you can contact the rectory for additional information.
Meetings are held once a week from 7:00 PM to 8:45 PM
